I can't feel the throttle lag and we find the sleds easier to ride in tight trees at 5-15mph than our 600 e-tecs. Very smooth and predictable tractoring at slow speeds with no jumpiness at all. I'm guessing someone dropped the ball and forgot to renew it, or it did get renewed and they forgot to upload the new security cert to the domain.
